Q: Are they hard to stop?

A: The air over hydraulic brake design was developed with fording (driving through water) in mind. The current release trucks that we offer stop very well. Air brake conversion kits are also available. We have been told by rock haulers that when they descend steep mountain roads loaded, they just use the low end gearing and not the brakes.
